The YANMAR 2YM15 is a naturally aspirated 2-cylinder engine that comes with either a marine gear or sail-drive unit, making it ideal for use on sailboat crafts.

The 3-model line-up provides a proven solution to meet output needs below 40 mhp, offering exceptionally quiet operation and low emissions, with EPA regulation Tier 3 marine compliance since 2009.

Easily accessible even when installed in small vessels, the YM series features a simplistic design that ensures uncomplicated maintenance.

The engines are also highly durable and built to last for both new builds and repowering.


Features

  • An ideal solution for smaller recreational boats, the YM series diesel engines are four-stroke, swirl pre-combustion chamber units equipped with liquid coolant systems.
  • All naturally aspirated, the full range of 2-cylinder and 3-cylinder models feature indirect injection, in-line pump combustion systems.
  • The engines are equipped with a marine gear or sail drive unit.
  • The YM series of mechanical, lower output engines complements the largest common rail recreational and light-duty commercial diesel engine line-up on the market.
